Love something for free????

This is the first time that I am offering blog candy??? and hope there to be many more.

Depending on my response to this post from all you surfies out there, I may have just have to offer 2 kits instead of 1.

As these are leftovers from a class, scabby aren't I, lol.... I would like your opinion on what you think and whether you would like to see some more kits that I have to sell at a reasonable price.

Most of the kits would be off the page items, this is my favourite. Why make something that your have put your heart & soul into and store it in an album. I love to display my creations around the house as you can see below.

Anyway back to the CANDY, leave me a comment and I shall let my darling ferrals, opps I mean children choose a winner or two. So lots of crawling is what I need to hear, no only joking. Just give me your honest opinions before next Saturday, March 8 and I shall announce the winner or winners next Saturday evening.

Best of luck,

What a challenge!!!!

I thought that I might give Keesh's Challenge #4 a go. I will have to learn how to link her challenge to this. So this is what I have come up with, an 8 x 8 page and little gift bag......

I have used an old photo (Courtney is second from left) that was given to me from one of Courtney's Yr 5/6 teachers from a Wakakirri performance. I think that I had as much fun helping with the props, costumes and makeup as all the children that performed did. They came third and won other prizes too that were given out throughout the night.

I used bashful blue, barely banana, whisper white card stock, spring showers designer paper and co-ordinating stamp set, looks like spring(bush fire appeal set), brocade blue wide ribbon, clear square button that I inked on and rich regal brads.

I was on such a roll, I though I should do another one. So here it is.....

These little bags are so quick and easy to do. All you need is an envelope and the large tag punch to create this, oh and the scallop punch if you like. Then decorate as desired. I might have to try a tutorial later with the directions.

Hope you like my challenge entries. I will have to try some more soon.
Until next time......

Who has the life.....

Check out Claws, if only I could sleep anywhere,

anyhow

or anytime.....

A little bit crabbie....

I just think this crab is so cute and thought how versatile this set really is. He can be used for birthdays, Christmas or even for a scrapbook page at the beach. I must do a page with a beach theme. So stay tuned and see what else I can come up with.
I layered the party hat and put some dimensional magic on the party hat and crabs eyes....

The finished product..... A little bit crabbie hey, lol....

Just a quick message to say that, I am so proud to be an Australian....all the generosity from everyone has really touched my heart. Even on my own home front, my 10 year old son has still got $60.00 left from his birthday money last month and wants to give $50.00 of it to the bush fire appeals. God love him. All the good that has come out of these traumatic times, still keeps putting a happiness tear in my eye. My thoughts and prayers go out to both the flood and fire victims.
So until next time.....

Scrapin again

Hello, I have finally got around to posting this scrapbooking page that I spoke about last month. This photo has so much meaning to me and he looks so grown up. We almost lost Jacob, he had been out of hospital for only 2 or 3 days after being very sick from diabetes.

I am really happy with the chalking effect on the page.

A few lines of pen and some buttons to finish off a quick and simple page.

So until next time.....

Always on my mind and forever in my heart.....

Well with valentines Day coming upon us fast, I thought I would create a card for my Hubby early, so that all I have to do is find the perfect gift....I know what he would want but that is another story I don't think I should go into.

I used the Always set from the spring catalogue, I love it so much that I hope it is carried over into the new catalogue which is released in April. My fingers are crossed but will have to wait and see.

The products that I used are, mellow moss, whisper white and perfect plum card stock. The perfect plum card stock was stamped with co-ordinating ink along the bottom. The sediment is embossed in white and I tied some bashful blue taffeta ribbon to the inside of the card.

Bashful blue, mellow moss and perfect plum stampin write markers were used to create the multi coloured heart that I have cut out and attached to the card.

I must post Jacob's page next time I am on. So until then.....
