Off the page....

So much for tomorrow!!!! I'm sorry guys for my inability to go get back to posting the rest of my sneak peek. I had all the good intentions but as of late my plans have been going out the window.

Anyway here you go and yes the guesses were right, a frame to hang on my wall in the hallway.

This framed master piece LOL has been created with the Inspired by Nature set and a recent purchase of a spellbinder set that created the beautiful butterfly. The colours are old olive, pretty in pink, regal rose, whisper white and of course basic black. The background has been embossed with a touch of glitter on the tips of the reeds to add a touch of shimmer in different light. The flowers were coloured on the stamp pad with markers before stamped. I have also used some of the current DS papers too. The live with passion sentiment has also been embossed with black.

The 8 x 10 inch frame I picked up from Go-Lo for a mere $5-00 and the other products used came to less than $5-00 too. There you have it, an off the page project for less than $10.00.

So take care and until next time,

Sneak Peek!!!

Hello All,

I thought I would give you a sneak peek of what I will be posting tomorrow.....

Any guesses of what it may be.... let me know,
So until next time and take care,

Good bye Claws!!!

It is sad today for our family, as our beloved kitten, Claws was found dead this morning in a neighbours front garden.
We had all really grown to the warmth, affection and of course attitude from Claws. He would hide behind a tree or bush and give a huge bear hug/jump out at you when you least expected it. One of his traits.... that even the regular walkers which pasted our house would be waiting for or looking out for him to do his usual stunts of bear hugs as we called them. It was quiet funny to watch.
Claws had even gained the regular attention from my hubby who is not really a cat person with his regular antics. Then our neighbours who thought he was just so cute! as he made himself known with regular visits and leg rubs.
It is a shame that Claws has past on at a young age of almost 7months. The kids have really felt it, especially Jacob as he found Claws this morning after he had died. We really don't know what happened as he looked perfectly normal, no injuries or war wounds were visible. I hope that when Claws died, he was not in any pain.... My darling hubby did the backyard burial and cross this afternoon which was lovely.... we all had a cry and said our goodbyes....
So until next time....

New back ground.....

Well I came across this background from Kez's blog (KB Papercrafts - you'll find on my side bar) that means so much to our family, as Jacob my 10 year old has Juvenile Diabetes also know as Type 1 Diabetes. So let pray that in the very near future that the CURE is found.
It was 12months on 20th of April this year since Jacob was diagnosed. He is so brave, in the fact that he does all of his own injections, 5 every day in total. Then there is all of those finger pricks to measure his BGL's and you know what? He rarely complains and just does it. His specialist his Suzanna, is just wonderful and praises him every three months when we see her, about how brave and grown up he has become with taking all of this on board.
Then to top if off, Jacob just loves hockey. Last year he played in the under 11 ACT side and had a ball. This year he has made it into the training squad for the ACT Public Schools, and after several training sessions he may be chosen to represent the ACT at Newcastle, in August to trial for the Australian Public Schools Representative side. It is just amazing that even if you have an illness and you love something enough that it will not hold you back. Just means that Mum and Dad have to keep working to pay for all these adventures. LOL
I had better give my beautiful daughter a mention about how she is always there when I need a helping hand with her brother that is, not the house work that is classified as a four letter word in her eyes. But hey, she loves her little brother and feels his pain, you can see it every time she watches him have an injection.
It is so funny you know, one minute world war 3 has just broken out, and the next thing they are helping each other, just normal I suppose, you have gotta love it???
These are some of our ups and downs in life, that could be a lot worse than they are and that is my out look on life....
So until next time,
